# 65,000 or 131,000 Energy for a USDT Transfer?

## The short answer

65K and 131K are purchase quantities, not guaranteed USDT transfer counts. Choose enough Energy for the transaction you intend to send. TRONow currently offers a fixed one-hour rental; the quote confirms the exact quantity and price.

## Choose a quantity before paying

Use the sending wallet’s current transaction estimate. If the estimate exceeds a preset, choose a larger quantity or enter a custom amount. The following is a selection guide, not a network-fee prediction.

## Which address needs the Energy?

The wallet that sends the USDT needs the Energy. On TRONow’s wallet checkout, the payment wallet also receives the Energy. Do not enter the USDT recipient as your payment wallet. Merchant API orders have a separate Energy recipient field.

## Check the estimate and available resources

Check available Energy in the sending wallet, or query wallet/getaccountresource. Developers can estimate the intended contract call using wallet/estimateenergy where the node supports it. Use the real sender, recipient and amount; an estimate describes current state, not guaranteed future consumption.

## Finish the purchase, then transfer

Select 65K, 131K or custom, review the live quote and enter your own payment wallet. The payment step locks the amount for five minutes. Pay the exact amount shown, wait for delivery and check the wallet’s resources before sending USDT. A payment confirmation alone is not Energy delivery.

## If you cannot get a quote

An unavailable quantity is not a zero price. Try a supported preset or refresh later. If you already paid and delivery is unclear, keep the payment hash and contact official support from the website; do not pay again just to retry. Frequent senders can use the merchant API with their account’s current quote.
